Excitement, energy, and community spirit filled the air at Santa Cruz Garden’s annual Dolphin Dash! Students, teachers, and families came together on the field for a beautiful morning of fun, fitness, and fundraising, and their efforts paid off—raising an incredible $22,000 in pledges to support vital school programs.

From the moment the event kicked off, the enthusiasm was contagious. Laps were walked, skipped and even ran backwards with determination, while cheers and high-fives kept everyone motivated. A special shout-out goes to our HSC parent volunteers, whose dedication and creativity made the event even more memorable. One of the biggest highlights was the bubble party, which added an extra layer of excitement and joy to the day!

The funds raised from the Dolphin Dash will directly benefit our school by supporting:
Science and Garden Emphasis (SAGE) Program – Encouraging Project Based Learning and environmental stewardship.
Field Trips – Learning the stories from our community leaders while literally learning outside!
Classroom Supplies – Providing essential materials to enhance daily learning.
A heartfelt thank you to our Home and School Club for organizing this incredible event and for their continued support of our teachers, students, and the SAGE Program. Their hard work and dedication ensure that our school community thrives.
We are so proud of our students for their enthusiasm and participation, and we are grateful to everyone who donated and helped make this year’s Dolphin Dash a huge success. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
